University of Bradford in Partnership with YBC
The University of Bradford has signed up to Partner the inaugural Bradford Business Conference for 2012.
The University offers a whole host of services to business including specialist expertise and facilities, conference and meeting venues, student and graduate talent and training & development.
They work with over 200 companies per year from SME’s to large organisations across the world on business performance improvements, workforce development and identifying new business opportunities. The University has strong partnerships with well known local organisations such as Yorkshire Water, Pace, Hallmark, Morrisons, and Sovereign Healthcare.
Malcolm Purdie, Head of Business Partnerships and Commercialisation said: "We are delighted that the Yorkshire Business Conference is coming to Bradford in June. We attended Kirklees Business Conference in 2011 and were impressed with the focus on local businesses, the quality of speakers and exhibitors and the professional way in which it was run.
"As an event partner for Bradford, our Regional Business Partnerships Centre intend to use the event to create awareness of our business support services and look for opportunities to develop connections between Bradford businesses and the University."
Danny Matharu, Event Director at YBC said: "To have a flagship Bradford organisation supporting the Conference is absolutely fantastic for Bradford. We’ll be working with the team at the University to showcase some leading local businesses at the Conference as well as highlighting how forging closer ties with the University can benefit businesses of any size."
